How this guide is put together

Where the information comes from

Property descriptions, photographs, room types and contact details come from the properties themselves. Owners send them to us and tell us when they change.

Area and beach guides are written by us. Ferry information comes from the operators and changes with the season, so we point at the operators rather than republish a timetable as if it were fixed.

What we check

• That a listed property exists, is on Sifnos, and is reachable at the contact details we publish.
• That the photographs belong to the property and show that property.
• That amenities we describe are the ones the property says it provides.

What we label rather than assert

• Information supplied by an owner is owner-reported, and we say so rather than presenting it as our own inspection.
• Reviews appear only when verified. A property with no verified reviews shows none.
• Where a stay is bookable through a connected supplier, the supplier is named on the page.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. That applies to our guides as much as to a listing.
